About

Autobiography

Liwei’s research interests lie in surgical robots, motion planning, and reinforcement learning. He has diligently learned various topics, including Reinforcement Learning, Motion Planning, Control, and Computer Vision. He recently finished his master capstone project, Tekkneeca, with team ParaDocs. His interest in robotics stemmed from the movie, Prometheus. The scene where Dr. Shaw uses the medical pod to do a cesarean section impressed him with the robot’s dexterity and intelligence.
